Kenny Slaught supports the Hospice of Santa Barbara as it creates a strong presence in local schools, from elementary school and up to college. Groups go to the schools and organize meetings with students who deal with traumas and need a safe space to talk. The meetings help teens to find insight and coping skills that prevent them from using drugs or alcohol. The Hospice of Santa Barbara has 65 school in its network, and all rely on it to respond to any occurring emergency.
