The new software enables investors and builders to have access to numerous properties in different regions. Crowdfunding sites have 150 firms in US, despite being relatively new. Nowadays, 7% of the US population is an investor, but in Southern California the number is close to 20%. Sites like CrowdEngine, RealtyShares, and CrowdForce allowed the public to make donations. Some of these platforms received 90% of needed equity through these contributions.
